Overview

In Kathmandu we visit several historical sites and monuments, which are recognized by UNESCO World heritage site. On a nice clear morning you have an optional of an hour of flight for one of the most spectacular views of some of the world?s Highest Mountain peaks including Mount Everest.

A change of scene and fresh mountain air as we drive to the Hill station in Nagarkot for an overnight and wake up with the sunrise view over the Himalayan ranges. To add more excitement, two full days are spent at the Royal Chitwan National Park with Elephant back safari, canoe ride and jungle walk in search of the, the elusive Royal Bengal Tigers, leopards, deer, crocodiles and birds. Also visit the Lake Valley ? Pokhara City which lies beneath the shadows of the mighty Annapurna Rangers including the most artistic of Mountains popularly called Machapuchere or Fishtail Mountain (6,997m). Experiences will be exchanged and interesting memories will be shared and recalled during a typical Nepali farewell dinner hosted by the company. A superb experience that spells ?WOW?. The only complaint we get on this trip is that it ended too soon.

Day 01: ARRIVAL IN KATHMANDU [1,300m/4,264 ft]

Upon arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, You will be received by our representative and transferred to your Hotel. Evening is free to venture around the city close to your hotel. Briefing at the hotel in the evening.

DAY 02: SIGHTSEEING TOUR OF SWYAMBHUNATH AND PATAN CITY.

On a full day tour today we take you to several historical sites which are considered World heritage site including the historic Durbar Squares in Patan City and over 2000 years old ‘Monkey Temple’ ?Swayambhunath. Unfortunately, the devastating earthquake of April 2015 has partially destroyed the some of these monuments. However exploring these landmarks is a delightful experience that reflects the marvelous art and architecture of ancient period.

DAY 03: BHAKTAPUR CITY TOUR AND TO NAGARKOT ( 2,174 m)

Optional Sugestion: One hour mountain flight towards Mt. Everest.
AM. We leave the morning free for those who would like to take an optional one-hour flight towards Mount Everest and back.
After breakfast we commence on sightseeing tour to Bhaktapur City – “City of Devotees” exhibiting its traditional craft of stone and woodcarving. From Bhaktapur City, continue drive uphill for about 45 minutes to reach Nagarkot Hillstation in time for a late lunch.Overnight: Hotel in Nagarkot

DAY 04 : DRIVE TO NAMOBUDDHA HILL (1750 M)

Breakfast in the Hotel and drive to Namobuddh Hill. Short hike around the monastery for a wonderful Buddhist cultural experience and drive down to Dhulikhel for lunch. After lunch, drive to Kathmnadu.
At Namobuddha we have an option of a short hike from Namobuddha to Balthali Village that offer you a wonderful opportunity to experience trekking in Nepal or simply have a wonderful Buddhist cultural experience.Walking time :approx 3 hours

DAY 05-06: DRIVE TO CHITWAN WILDLIFE NATIONAL PARK

After an early breakfast, we drive along side River Trisuli to reach our hotel in Chitwan in time for lunch. Trisuli River is a very popular for white water rafting ranging from a day trip to several days.
Spread over 967 square Km of dense sub-tropical forest, the Royal Chitwan National Park is reputed to be the best managed wildlife-park in Asia. About 165 Km of scenic drive from Kathmandu, this park is a home of over 46 species of mammals and over 500 species of birds.
2 Nights and 3 days are spent at Chitwan National Park with exciting jungle activities along with an experienced naturalist.
The activities at the resort includes Jungle safari on elephants, guided nature walks, canoe trips, jeep safaris in search of one horned rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, deer, crocodiles and birds and a cultural tour to the native village. DAY 07: DRIVE TO POKHARA WITH A D-TRIP TO BANDHIPUR VILLAGE

To beak the monotony of the drive towards Pokhara, the city of renowned Gorkha soldiers with a day trip to an ancient town of Bhandhipur for a brief tour. The view of Fishtail Mountain will greet you as we approach Pokhara. Pokhara is a beautiful city with three most popular lakes- Phewa Tal, Begnas Tal and Rupa Tal beneath the 8000meters Annapurna Massif dominating the skyline to the north. Pokhara is also the starting point of many of the major treks in Nepal.

DAY 08: POKHARA VALLEY TOUR.

After breakfast we will take a boat ride on the beautiful Phewa Lake and to the island like temple ? Barahi Temple – dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima- protector deity representing the female force ?Shakti?. A picture taken during a boat ride with the refection of the artistic Fishtail Mountain in the lake and the beautiful mountain rising above the Lake in the backdrop will guarantee you a best photography award anywhere any time.
Visit Davi?s Fall. Legend has it that a trekker named Davi was killed in the fall, hence the foreign name was given to the waterfall which is locally know as Patele Chhango meaning ?underworld waterfall?.
A stroll through the old Pokhara bazaar takes you to the important shrine ? Bindayabashini Temple, dedicated to Goddess Bhagwati, yet another manifestation of Shakti (power).

DAY 09: DAY FREE IN POKHARA

Optional: Day hike to the World Peace temple.
World Peace Pagoda, a massive Buddhist stupa is situated on the top of a hill on the southern shore of Phewa Lake. Besides being an impressive sight in itself, the shrine is a great vantage point which offers the spectacular views of the Annapurna range, Phewa Lake, and the Pokhara city. We Climb the Raniban forest crossing the suspension bridge. After the 2 hours of walk we reach stupa and enjoy the spiritual and scenic beauty. Climbing down from Pagoda is more enjoyable with the view of Phewa Lake and the beautiful Mt. Fishtail in its backdrop. We cross the lake after the 20 minutes of boating.
Today has been left free for you to continue exploring this delightful setting as you wish.
A full day in Pokhara offer you a whole lot of adventure opportunities such as Paragliding or a Zip-line adventure drop down from the Sarankot hill or a thrilling two seat single engine mountain flight or just relax around the lakeside.
Pokhara also offers some interesting day hikes or Pony treks as well as overnight treks to superb vantage points such as, Kahun Danda, Naudanda etc.

DAY 10: FLY FROM POKHARA TO KATHMANDU.

Early Morning Tour: The most stunning of Pokhara?s sights is the spectacular panorama of Annapurna Ranges – Annapurna I to Annapurna IV – of which Annapurna I (8091 m) is the highest. Your hotel at Sarankot Height offers you a chance to enjoy this scenic grandeur especially attractive during sunrise.
For those willing to experience an introductory hike in the Nepal Himalayas can continue to take a 45 minutes hike uphill to a superb vantage point at the top of Sarankot Height (1592m). Optional: The more adventurous can paraglide or make a fast drop by Zip- Line to Pokhara Valley.
After a late breakfast, transfer to the airport to connect with the flight to Kathmandu. On arrival, receive and transfer to the Hotel.Overnight: Hotel in Kathmandu

DAY 11: DAY FREE IN KATHMANDU.

Full day free to explore around Kathmandu.

DAY 12: FINAL DEPARTURE TRANSFER.
